This fine, four star country house hotel stands in one-acre of mature grounds and is situated only half a mile from the golden beaches of the historic walled seaside town of Tenby. There is ample safe parking in our grounds for all guests and with mature landscaped gardens to the front and rear of the hotel.

They are proud to have gained a reputation over the last twenty-four years for quality accommodation, excellent food and friendly service; highlighted by their Welsh Tourist Board 4-star rating and coveted RAC Fine Dining Award 2003/04.

The entire hotel was refurbished in 2002 with the addition of their new Spa Leisure Suite. The Spa Leisure Suite is comprised of a purpose-built indoor swimming pool, solarium, Jacuzzi and full fitness-gym. With comfort and quality foremost these facilities represent luxury of the highest standard.

All the guest rooms have been recently upgraded and modernized to the highest standards. All rooms are en-suite and most provide views over the landscaped gardens. The indoor swimming pool has a mediterranean feel, with a six person jacuzzi at one end, this is comfort at its best. The large south facing patio overlooks the lawn where you can take a snack or cool drink, or take in the sun.

Guests wishing to keep fit or those who wish to learn, we have a gym equipped with the most modern equipment and instructors on hand to give full support.

You can indulge yourself with a relaxing sauna or build on that tan in the solarium.  At Heywood Mount you can enjoy yourself no matter what the weather.

18 Holes at Tenby Golf Course.

Welsh golf couldn't have asked for a better birthplace. Natural golfing terrain of sea-washed turf and sandy dunes, a medieval walled town close by and a view that includes the monastery island of Caldey to remind you of tranquillity, if you needed reminding in such a spot.

Tenby club began in 1888 and to this day, the fine old course stands testimony to the flavour of the early days of golf - its defences have been imaginatively maintained, the latest being the transformation of the long bunker in front of the 13 th into two pot bunkers and the creating of a higher 18th tee on top of Black Rock that ensures a breathtaking finish.

18 holes at Trefloyne Golf Course.

Just one mile from Tenby, Trefloyne Golf Course opened in 1996 after being allowed to mature following its construction in 1991/92. It is a top-grade 18 hole parkland course set in a landscape of beautiful mixed woodlands.

The views over Carmarthen Bay and Caldey Island are breathtaking. The careful integration of natural features and hazards has ensured a marvellous combination of tough par 3's, exciting 4's and formidable par 5's - a challenge that all serious golfers are very quick to accept and appreciate.
