The award winning Restaurant caters to the emergence of a new group of food lovers who enjoy a lifestyle of good food, fine wine and ambience.  Raglans has been praised for its finely orchestrated service starting with that first sip of an aperitif whilst you feast your eyes on Raglans impressive menu. Under the helm of our cutting edge Head Chef, the menu is treated with almost reverential respect and changes frequently, being led by the local, seasonal produce on offer. Even the bread, baked daily on site, is amazing. The menu is supported by a good wine list and is excellent value for money.

18 Holes at The Glamorganshire Golf Course

The Glamorganshire Golf Club, situated in the seaside town of Penarth on the outskirts of Cardiff is the second oldest golf club in South Wales. Although being near the sea, the Glamorganshire is not a links, but an 18-hole parkland course on undulating ground on the edge of what are now Cosmeston Lakes.

The Club is steeped in tradition - it was at the Glamorganshire that the Stableford scoring system was first tried by its creator, Dr. Frank Stableford in September 1898, and when the Barbarian Rugby Football Club made Penarth their home in 1901 for their traditional Easter tour to Wales, the Glamorganshire was adopted as the place to spend the free Sunday.

18 Holes at The National, Vale Resort

At 7,413 yards off the championship tees - it's one of the longest golf courses outside of the USA. Golf World magazine rates its 16th hole as one of the top 10 par 4s in UK golf. It boasts some of the UK's finest scenery, a mixture of mature wooded areas, wide and narrow fairways and vast water and bunker features, all set in the spectacular countryside of Wales. A course designed to be a challenging test for even the lowest of handicaps with the 2nd hole being the longest par 5 in Wales.
